What abuser or rapist has EVER said "yep, I did it" especially when they have lots to lose? I am highly sus of men who are "afraid" of "false accusations". Even REAL accusations don't get arrests or repercussions. The dude who SA'd me (literal track record of being a serial rapist with police reports) completed a college degree, has a family now, no problems. He got mad at ME for sending the police to his house. Like sorry I had the audacity to report your violent sex crime? Not sorry. But they said something on the FDS podcast I thought was clever- I think it was the asymmetrical warfare episode of female political strategy. Lemon said that we should stop telling men that even real rape accusations don't usually get consequences/fake accusations hardly ever occur. She said we should let them fear a false accusation, like if they are so rapey let them live in fear you know what I mean? Haha. Why should we soothe men's feelings about "getting his life ruined if he AcCiDenTaLlY rapes or abuses a woman". Not to mention the double standard that was also mentioned in the podcast, where men will dunk on women who have been abused and raped and say they should have picked better, but then when we establish strategies like female dating strategy to weed out low value men they cry we are too strict.
