Can't wait for them to drop out of school, and all these little incels destroy their own lives. Eat shit, die mad.

I had a small taste of this behavior when I lived in Silicon Valley CA. I lived with 5 Indian and Arab male tech nerds, I am in healthcare. Not only was I the only female, I wasn't in their field, they were from highly misogynistic cultures. I got it pretty.bad from those guys.
Another red flag. Indians hanging out with Arabs. You know something is wrong with all the guys, including Arab because Arab and the Indians by association whereas Muslims massacred and did all that's wrong starting about 1000 years ago already to Indian women.
Even in my worst days, I'd have avoided that combo. Facts only when you know your stuff, or get after bad experience.
Sad for your time lost. Hope you are doing amazing now!

this is why so many women dont go into stem or quit. My friend quit due to the harassment she was facing, she is already an anxious person to begin with. she just couldnt handle it. the environment was so toxic, they all made her feel so little and left out, made fun of her, talked about her behind her back, doubted her abilities and would make sexist 'jokes', the male teacher didnt do much to help her either.
I've spent ages in Uni at this point, and the guys in my class rarely talk to me still, let alone want to work with me. I'm a grad student, and I still get the sense a lot of them just see me as a bimbo or something. It's hard, especially since the occasional other female classmates don't seem particularly interested in grouping up with me because they either rather stay isolated or work with guys instead. I'm throwing in the towel at this point. In my last group project, one of the guys in my group kept trying to argue how a configuration that I PROGRAMMED MYSELF worked, as if I had no idea what I even did for my solution. But did he ever come up with an alternative? NOPE.
I have been there, done that. For starters, I'd say stop whining. She should report it to the HoD straight up. Because, if it gets too late, they will be the first to argue that she never told them FIRST. Second step, inform the local news whatever Herald is circulating in the classrooms/college/university/town. Let them know, albeit a secret tip. Of course, you will have to avoid pickmes and LVMs while doing so.
But it was so satisfying when a particular scrote won't back off because I got an internship paying more than full time only working half time. He spread rumors how I was someone lesser than him. I went to the University press room to present the scoop and my friend posted an anonymous article about me getting the internship and how prestigious that was. Along the lines of immigrant women excelling on all fronts. Guys can Snapchat about that, see if I care.
Exactly. Immediately report these guys using every avenue to your advantage!
I also went to school for the sciences. Men always treated me with respect (more like fear) because I never let a single thing slide from day one and always put myself into positions of power and influence that I made sure to flex. These schools want women in STEM, heavily market it, and are therefore very sensitive to harassing behavior. The school won't do shit if you're raped or tenured teacher abuse, but you can absolutely use the system to cook the small fry. Unlike ivy league schools and big family $$ programs like law and business, STEM is filled with loser dudes with zero clout. School administrations do not give a fuck about such people, and they eventually weed themselves out as soon as their little boy club gets broken because they didn't have the grit to survive anyways.
At my school, I went to the HoD over a group of guys who sat at a table blocking the way into one of the labs loudly playing Magic the Gathering. I told them it was intimidating to underclassmen women who already felt out of place. What I didn't say is that these guys were clearly doing it as a power move because the lab was where work and networking was done. Their little meet up was gone the next day, I stole their table to position MYSELF as a center of power, and they twisted into the wind.
I dropped out of college around 6 ish years ago if not more and was experiencing this on a lighter version, like the crap we see today about men entitledness was just becoming a thing. I was getting treated differently in science classes I took for nursing requirements. The men and the male professors kept being butt-buddies so I had a hard time learning when professors would go off tangent and just joke around mid-lectures. Idk but i feel awful for young women in college/uni right now must be something horrible with the way men are acting.
And then they wonder why women don't want them let alone be near them..
You have my blessing to go full Elle Woods on these pea-brains
They’re probably the same ones on r/foreveralone going “nO oNe LoVeS mE”
