Now I don't know Jackson Wang that well, I don't follow him that much and I'm not even saying that he's an HVM, but I feel that he's got the exact view that I feel men should have with regards to having children. Men nowadays feel so entitled to having children that they don't care what pregnancy does to his wife. Even if the wife wants children, not everyone is healthy enough to go through pregnancy without any long-term consequences to their body and the woman has every right to say no to having children if she feels that she cannot bear the health risks. It's a woman's issue, men have no say in it, period!
At first glance, these 2 men sound like mature adults who think carefully about these issues. But their mask immediately slipped when one of the interviewer said, "women have been doing it for thousands of years" (trivializing the pain women go through). I'm not saying that men shouldn't think about this when dating, but the men who are tunnel vision on the kids issue, use it as a vetting strategy and forget about all other great connection he could have with his wife/gf are definitely LVM. He doesn't see you as anything more than a baby making machine. But sadly, this is a pretty common thinking nowadays and even women defend that.
A dude was begging his forever girlfriend for kids so she gave in and said okay, you can have kids but you will stay at home to take care of them because I'm not going to stop working.
He never aksed again.
There you have it, men want kids but only if you do most of the work.
I agree, he really does have the perfect view! Men who say they want X amount of kids always kinda made me side-eye, because how can you even guarantee that without force? Like u can say you want 2, and yet 1 birth can prove itself to be the last due to health risks and then what? Men should 1,000% be open to the number of kids not being what they wanted
Makes total sense.
