The war on cameltoe

Fashion... First it wants women to wear super tight athletic clothing (notice how men rarely work out in skin tight leggings, oh I wonder why), then it shames them for having vulvas so it can sell more "must have" products. Sigh. Even when men do wear tight pants, does anyone give a f about their lumpy bulges? It would be considered rude to look there. I honestly dislike this whole tend of curating your gym outfits and looking as "cute" as possible. I get that workout clothes can be fun, but it's also some of the most sexist shit I've ever seen.

Who gives a shit (if you have a cameltoe). Just focus on what’s comfortable for you. Males don't overthink their apparel, they train wearing whatever they want. When I train, I don’t even think about my outfit. The trick to that is finding kit that is functional, feels almost tailored to your physical needs, and suits your overall performance needs. Find what works for you.

Anyone who tries to give you their two cents when you're doing your thing can go fuck themselves.

Let the toe show

So many of the leggings from when yoga pants, leggings, and workout clothes became super trendy were completely see through. Think around 2014, I remember trying on many and you could completely see my underwear through all of them. I had the hardest time finding anything that was modest and didn't show a camel toe. Even to this day so many of the workout outfits designed for women that are supposed to be "cute" are made to pander to the male gaze : wearing just a sports bra and super tight camel showing leggings. Or a practically see through open back tank top and see through leggings.

Also though the double standard of men they don't want fat women and then simultaneously shame women for wearing clothes to workout in.

But yeah I want to feel cute at the gym and finding something that isn't too revealing or fitted has been hard. I wear a looser fitting tee shirt and sweatpants or bell bottom thicker yoga pants and men still oogle and try to approach me. I invested in a home gym a few months ago and now I wear what I want.

They want to pretend you don't have labia because they don't see it in porn. When they do see it (normal genitals) they call it "roast beef". And "camel toe".

Also how is that anti-cameltoe underwear? It looks like it would split my lips straight in half.

What a joke. It's capitalism merged with objectification and dehumanisation of women. They create a stupid problem by pushing too tight, ill fitting leggings on people. They normalise women removing their pubic hair to make it more obvious, and they start selling stupid underwear that's uncomfortable and doesn't even cover anything. And then, when the inevitable 'camel toe' arises (even the name is misogynistic) they shame women for having normal human bodies and produce the joke that is 'camel toe proof underwear/leggings' so that women can get broke buying more pointless stuff they don't even need 🤢

Like, tell me that most men are secretly gay without telling me that. If they hate the natural female body so much they should just date each other and leave us tf alone.

It's also a nice little double standard that every day I leave my house I see some unwashed scrote crawling down the street in jogging bottoms, clearly not wearing underwear and leaving nothing to the imagination. Not because capitalism is manipulating him but because he seriously cba to put on underwear. I don't see anyone shaming this, calling it scrote toe or telling them they need to buy special jogging bottoms to hide it 🙄

As a rule, I don't buy into trash fashion. I only buy clothes that fit well, are comfortable and don't needlessly cater to the male gaze. If it doesn't look good to me and make me feel good about myself, I'm not wearing it. All of my underwear, trousers, jeans and gym leggings are comfortable and well fitted so I don't have to deal with the ridiculous faux-issue of so called 'camel toe'. If the scrotes don't like that, they can gtfo.

I’ve never had camel toe in my life. I’d never wear something so tight that you could see my vulva. Why would any woman wear something that tight? It’s dangerous due to men and for your health. That’s just begging for a yeast infection. Let her breathe, FFS.

Westerners do yoga like it should be done right? Like wearing tight yoga pants to stretch and, their version of 'yoga'? Don't @ with it's not women, just men. Well if it were, then why say for an example Indian women wear salwar kameez or a saree to do yoga. Now where's the research done by women here? I only see most of the best people ever even thinking about wear a loose and appropriate dressing to do yoga. My point is why bother about male pandering when the premise is so wrong to begin with. You need to wear appropriate dressing for a task, be it any task. 'Yoga pants' for yoga is simply westerners' propoganda against women. Next what wear a blouse with a saree? Oh wait, that already happened. White men said Indian women showed breasts, now yoga pants shows camel toe. Ah, well, how about you cover your stupid mouth and ugly brains?
