I'm very into paleoanthropology and I like to incorporate elements of the lives of our pre-agrarian ancestors into my life. An "interesting" tidbit about them is that they were very egalitarian. There were some loose gender roles, men were more likely to be hunters, women were more likely to be gatherers. Those gender roles were flexible and nothing like the rigid and oppressive roles of post agrarian societies.
The "need" for strict gender roles and female subjugation started when humans began amassing wealth, when men started to dictate marriage and procreation and form family clans. This part is unnatural, as men didn't evolve to be able to vet prospective partners, women did.

Patriarchy is definitely not healthy or natural equanimity. It throws everything out of whack. It's simply male superiority which is a mental illness/psychopathy to be frank.
What is natural about using concoctions of man-made chemicals to remove the hair that is growing on my legs?
yeah i came across this article that says something similar https://medium.com/@LiaTripleL/no-men-were-never-protectors-and-providers-4a0ada241d09
