I‘m so sorry you had to endure through all of that and that rapist freak. this whole poly bullshit never sat right with me even when i had a “poly“ friend and he turned out to be one the most toxic people I’d ever known(insulting me here and there and being a weird, jealous friend in general) and literally every single person I met in that cult was SOOO UNHINGED. It just attracts people with severe mental and commitment issues

Can you explain a little more on how you found yourself involved in them? Did you go into them directly out of your own interest or was it like cults, where you don't believe you would ever fall for it but somehow you do aka grooming.

It was a bit of both. I was getting really interested in SJW stuff at the time; the university I went to was full of over-privileged, way-too-wealthy manchildren (but also some shitty over-privileged women as well) and, at the time, radical leftist groups appealed to my frustration about what I was seeing and experiencing. So, I chose to hang out with SJWs more. This was when polyamory was described to me as this amazing, liberating, incredible thing. It was almost mandatory in those circles. Monogamy was mocked and looked down upon, and there was a push to be sexually available (especially to men with more social clout) to seem more 'radical.' There was also a lot of praise given (basically, you'd be talked about as more likeable) if you conformed to the behaviour the rest of the group was into. So, I would say that while it was my own interest and choice that drew me toward those people, there was definite grooming behaviour and coercion going on that I wasn't wise to at the time. Back then, I just thought my discomfort meant that there was something wrong with me. It was honestly only in retrospect that I was able to understand a lot of the behaviour as cult-ish.

They act like they live more freely than non-monogamists, but then they're so damn controlling to the women that leave.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the one that breaks down is usually the one that's been with him longer that he pays almost no attention to anymore (think sister wives). (

The one that gushes is the much younger, newer one that he is way flirtier to. That he's not bored of. And also the one who never had anything to lose cause she's joining what someone else has instead of compromising something she has.

The older 1st girlfriend is doing the mature work. Being the mom/therapist/nag. Then the younger one gets to be the fun girlfriend while someone else keeps him in line or makes him be an adult (think about women that purposely seek out married men) Like she gets to join this situation that is already sorted because the 1st girlfriend is doing all the sorting and she gets, I hate to say it, but the "little girl" role (like ddlg).

Like the couple I made this post about. 1 women has to be the responsible partner and the other 2 get to be peter pans (younger girlfriend always looks like she could be a child.) The saddest thing is that the younger girlfriend is free to be fun, hot and flirty in the way that every woman really wants to be in her monogamous relationships but she can't because she's mommy mcbangmaid, doing 50 50 and forced to nag him to do his responsibilities.

She builts him up every morning like mommy making sure you get dressed and have everything and he then gets to presents himself to younger women like the "man" who has everything going on. When he needs someone else to even look decent in the morning.

Honestly yeah. This isn't the first time I've seen an Aquarius women have fun with seeing her man cheat on her as long as she feels like she's in control. Shallon lester talked about how she liked watching her boyfriend get lapdances from strippers. She would take him to the strip club and pay for them and he would be shocked an uncomfortable but obviously like it because he's a dude (even though he's allowed to, he obviously can feel it's wrong. What’s with all the toxic pick me aquarius?! I have two beautiful (older) aquarius women friends but some of the worst people ones my age and younger I have met ARE WEIRD (no offence) these toxic ones get off on being “rebellious“ in all the worst ways in my experience.

As far as I am convinced; Aquarius placements in women make them so unbothered in life, or want to believe that very much, that results in regularly believing that they don’t need much boundaries, sometimes to the otherworld it is looking like they’re more coping with things than actually addressing them and talking about it. As long as you’re human and can stay very close to them(as in radius)(and daily available) or be their secret somehow, you’re approved. I’m always amazed how unbothered they are because I think that’s a great asset to have but usually there is something hidden. The result is that they usually complain a lot about other humans or things they see outside their home, they seem to be critical in life at first but it is usually a result of something they allow that they don't like and after they are done complaining they continue as if nothing happened. In two words subconsciously: unbothered and ignorant about themselves.
