I’m so disturbed by all the Women willing to completely paint her as a liar with zero insider information. Y’all are part of the problem; at a minimum admit you don’t know anything that went on rather than play armchair detective. Study after study has proven we’re all terrible at discerning deception and you all pretend to have a special gift for it, it’s disheartening to watch. Go read the 154 page opinion and see if you still feel the same way; the trial is a spectacle, and the amount of evidence getting left out is disturbing. That’s the endgame and you all fell for it. They know no one’s gonna go digging for all the details so if they can keep it out of the trial, they’re guaranteed a win cuz that narcissistic man child can deliver a performance like none other.

I believe her too. I read the entire judgement from the UK case and it goes over several different incidents of abuse starting with the beginning of their relationship.

Anyway, both sides have been presenting their evidence, and Depp's evidence is less credible because of inconsistencies and other issues. So this document goes into detail why Depp isn't credible in each situation. The judgement found that he abused her at least 12 times.

I have also faced my abuser in court and testified against him. His side cherrypicked various text messages I had sent that were rude and nasty to him to paint me as a horrible person. In reality, there was a context behind my horrible messages to him - he was being abusive and I was reacting. Additionally, still to this day my abuser constantly accuses me of doing the things he did to me. It's nuts. Even though he was convicted in court by a jury.

Victims don't just sit there and take it all the time, they often fight back. In the Depp case, Heard doesn't start fighting back until the end of their relationship, and that is where Depp gets his recordings from (all out of context). Seeing people fall for the PR campaign because of the massive amount of Tik Tok videos and social media content makes me sad for our society's ability to think critically.

This whole thing has turned into a witch hunt and a cause célèbre for misogynists. At this point it wouldn't even matter what she did. There could be video evidence of him punching her and the MRAs would still be like "look at her assaulting his poor fist with her face".

Any trained therapist will tell you that abuse in relationships is always characterized by power imbalances. Amber was in a one-down position compared to him in their relationship. Meaning he held a disproportionately large amount of power over her in age, experience, success and wealth. This power differential means he is the more likely to have initiated the interpersonal abuse. By accusing her of being abusive, he’s trying to gaslight her into assuming equal responsibility for being abusive in addition to trying to evade full accountability for his chronic exploitation and manipulation. What he’s actually accusing her of isn’t true abuse in the beginning - it’s reactionary abuse, or rather her reactions to his abuse. She seems to have become more abusive over time, but under increasing duress, I think it’s safe to assume that nearly all victims of abuse would have a propensity to devolve into abusive behaviors in an attempt to reestablish their own psychological and physical safety. I personally think he’s absolutely full of shit - he seems like a sociopath and a narcissistic at the very least.

I am so disgusted by the ppl making memes from Amber’s testimonies. Like literally these are women making memes out of her recalling her trauma and making fun of her. And you wonder why nobody wants to come forward to report rape??? Imagine going though all that and retelling your story to so many ppl at court and even the women are ridiculing you. it’s so so disgusting I am so sick of seeing it and I can’t believe it’s on tiktok like what happened to the alg that used to never show me pick me sht. Being in court with your abuser is terrifying. The whole thing is an enjoyable performance for JD you can see it clearly. I could feel her pain when she had to endure his testimony of how they met, him talking that annoying, slow and dreary vocal speed, backhanded compliments about her acting abilities and long narcissistic stories of how they met was more about his fame and virtue. His smirking and trying to make a joke of everything is horrendous. I’ve read that a DV victim would not have to take the stand in close proximity of her abuser, that this open exploitative case is unheard of. There are no safeguarding precautions in place for AH. It wouldn’t surprise me if she’s getting death threats also. Usually the victim would be behind a screen or via video link. Also the psychologist testimonies are ridiculous. Diagnosing her with mental illness is such a common tactic to oppress women. Plus just because you have a mental illness it doesn’t mean you are a violent person. But because she’s a woman it will be used against her for sure! I’m hoping a psychological evaluation is done for JD. Let’s see what that would say ha!!! Like someone said she won the UK case but these abusers can’t let it go. Which was a private affair unlike US tactics. He’s obviously paid off those giving evidence too as why wasn’t all his slandering prevalent in the UK case??? He’s had time to cast this play he’s directing. I’ve been through reactive abuse also and because I went into fight mode to protect myself my ex partner screamed to anyone who would listen that I abused him. He even went out into the street asking people to ring the police. So good for her for sticking up for herself. It doesn’t make her any less of a victim. They are the victims in their eyes. I’ve been to court with my abuser many times and it is such a frightening place to be. Amber is very brave for doing this with so many eyes on her around the world and no doubt she is struggling so much right now. I fear that if she loses this then perpetrators will become more so angry, entitled and oppress us women. Even less women will come forward in disclosing abuse and we all know not many do as it is. I’m dreading the outcome. We all need to pray it doesn’t go in JD’s favour 🤞

Absolutely ! Having a personality disorder makes womem more vulnerable as they don't know when to leave and what to do during abuse .
