Even in death men will degrade and disrespect the women they utterly depend on. Can you trust the guy you're with to respect your memory or will he go for a cheap laugh?
This is supposed to be "comedy":

What an asshole. I would vandalize it with a Sharpie at least though preferably a chisel.
No seriously, why did this man feel the need to go down in history as an aggressive, obvious asshole.
He probably died the year after her because he no longer had her labor to feed, bathe, cook, clean, shop, dress, and otherwise service him to keep his pathetic life going 😑
So it's not good enough that he drove her to an early death; he had to make her the butt of a stupid joke even after that.
A church I used to go to was full of old scrotes like this. Relied on their wives to do everything but wipe their asses, and still had to make mean-spirited jokes about how "stupid" their wives (or women in general) were. In the couples where the husband died first, I noticed how much happier and more relaxed and confident their widows were after being rid of him.
I guess it would also imply that the wife "loved" him but he didn't reciprocate? What an asshole. I see her tombstone also just has her first name written instead of her entire name
In my line of work, I have a lot of exposure to gravestones, epitaphs, obits, memorials, etc. I am just not seeing this one the same way. Assuming this is real and not photoshopped, it's likely that the man's gravestone wording was done by survivors, not by the man himself. I can see how this Duncan Fyfe is trying to be funny, but I'm gonna give the dead man a pass on this one.

Loved by all, eh? I hope he died of syphilis!
Dehumanized even in death.

Near my town there's this old graveyard across where I grab coffee and I have to drive by it all the time.
The men's tombstones are standing with visible wording and the Womans are flat on the damn ground looking like rocks.
I was told they're from the 1500's (from my pick-me grandmother) but I figured out that they're from the 1900's
The clownery lol I can't believe these fuckers think they're superior over us, they have spaghetti legs and bald spots.
I'm so dense. Can someone explain this to me? Lol
Fucking 13 year age gap. Fuck this shit.
