Hey ladies,
Story time:
Not too long ago a business coach joined my networking sphere. A pick me I know professionally vouched for this guy, but I knew to take it with a boulder of salt.
Since then, I have repeatedly been proven correct.
First off, this fool tried to use my social capital to boost HIS business. I was so angry after he did this I wanted to cancel our meeting but my pick me friend (of course) told me to give him another chance. I agreed, but told her I was giving him a piece of my mind at the meeting.
He thinks he's getting business from me so has glommed on for dear life. Next, he began following me on social media, where I discovered his IG is alllllll plagiarized. I'm a writer, I canNOT associate with this non-sense in any professional capacity. I cancelled the meeting immediately.
THEN, the following week, he made an inappropriate comment to a lovely woman in our group, and this was the final straw for a few folks. Some men in the group even commented on his behaviour.
Since I cancelled the meeting, today he guilted and harangued me about cancelling, yet had ZERO curiosity to ask me why I canceled his sorry ass. He just pushed and pressed me to feel bad cuz he was "looking forward to it". If he asked me, I would have told him the truth, but he never even asked. Just whined and felt sorry for himself.
My intuition was right, it's always right, and I'm so glad I kicked this buffoon to the curb before he could damage my reputation any further. He's the most selfish, egoistical "business coach" I've ever met, and that doesn't bode well. Always listen to yourself, not your pick me associates
Anytime I hear someone refer to themselves as a coach I give nothing but side-eye👀
