Securing the internship I want!

I am working on manifesting an internship with a local non-profit, that could go towards gaining credit in my masters program.

My academic advisor at the university (male scrote) has given me some pushback on the idea in the past, but I decided to subvert that and start forming connections directly with the organization myself.

The org has offered me an opportunity that sounds really promising! I do need to get "permission" from my advisor in order to move forward. So, I just sent an email detailing the situation to him. I'm really hoping he gives me the green light on this!
