Dear Queens,
Since my last post, I have tried to count my blessings, but realize that the whole tech career thing won't really work out, since getting enough power to improve my situation is practically impossible. Especially since my gender and appearance keep counting against me no matter what I do.
I dream of a day where women have a separate tech industry that bans straight (cishet) men altogether so that they will never hold us back again.
Thank you to FDS for letting me be truthful.
P.S. Transpeople absolutely welcome. I have had the great fortune of benefiting from the wisdom of transgendered people and don't begrudge them for existing. I have suffered enough from the scorn I get for existing in my flesh prison to hurt others in the same way.
I came to this conclusion in my career about 7 years ago. So I left and started my own business.
You can do this! It takes time and perseverance, but you CAN reinvent yourself and succeed outside of male-centered spaces.
