I am applying for jobs. I have three interviews with Company A, B, and C. I had company A interview last week, but B and C is this week. Company A gave me an offer today. It's a good company, but Company B offers more money, and Company C is similar to A, but the cost of living is higher. I told Company A that I need more time because I want to finish up my interviews. They said that they will give me a week before calling me back.
I have a previous of rushing into things and I want to be better with that. I listened to FDS bonus podcast and I wanted to draw my line.
Did I do the right thing? Need some feedback.

Also gives you more power in negotiating pay w A B and C.
You can follow up with A n say you received another offer w a different company. See if they can match it.
Same w B or C. Once they make an offer, you may counter that another company has already offered x amount. Can you beat that salary.
Also strongly consider which place will be the best for you.
