Has anyone else been noticing the influx of dense people lately? Like not just PickMes who don't read the handbook, but women who seem unable to grasp and are hostile towards even the most piss-basic concepts of feminism? For example, how critiquing the institution of marriage is not a personal slight against you and your Nigel? Or about what systemic misogyny means (hint: it doesn't mean "all women are wonderful")? I'm seeing stuff that I've historically only seen when debating anti-feminist men. It's not like these are deep concepts; it's 101 stuff. Is it just me?

Especially in the last three months, it has felt to me that a huge majority of the new members have not read the handbook at all. Very frustrating especially considering the handbook is wonderful and really helps one understand the goals of FDS
Yes! There was a recent post where a pickme went "I don't consider myself a "feminist"".... she even put the word in quotations. Like, I can't.

The sub has experienced insane growth in the past few weeks and it's been difficult to catch up, so some pickmeishas stuff gets through. The best thing you can do is report the comments so the mods can clean up.
