We think we can keep humanizing them. I didn't realize just how rapists - rich, White rapists, in particular are treating ALL women like a playground.
They almost never feel remorse, in contrast to males who commit other crimes.
Brock Turner is one of so fucking many. Are these judges ALSO rapists? Probably! Rape is basically LEGAL.
Why WOULD males respect us? We are more concerned about making predators believe in "tRuE LuB 💕 🥺 💕 tm" than we are with getting justice and putting our LIVES AND NEEDS ahead of male wants.
We are SLAVES in this system - and I'd treat women like shit too, if this was the message I was getting every day about women and girls.
I agree, our culture is out of control in its hatred of women. I was with a client this week who was raving about a sex discrimination case and how he's going to "own" the lawyer and ruin the girls' lives. It makes me sick. I usually work with his team (not him directly) so this is the first time I've seen his toxic attitude. I need the money right now, but I am seriously considering stepping away from this client.
The only thing I disagree with in this post: we DO get daily messages to hate women and to treat them as subhuman - but I don't treat us that way. love women, no matter what the world says. I do know some pickmes who hate women - and I stay away from them.
What do you think marching accomplishes. Women have been marching for more than 50 years. Marching is a ruse that is permitted to happen in order for you to feel as though you are "doing something." The answer is violence.
