I was wondering if this would be a feature of something the mod team is interested in? I know a few of us FDS-ers who have some data from our subreddit and as a dev, I'd like to join the FDS dev team to help out with the news site and migrate old posts onto here too.

For copywright reasons, you can only move posts that you wrote. If you would like to move your old content, then by all means!
