...and I can see why.
So, I have a friend who buys cheap makeup (it looks good on her, because makeup is basically all the same).
Men lambast her for being "cheap." But she says when she buys expensive makeup, they accuse her of being a golddigger. When it's normal priced, they call her "basic."
Sound familiar? This is a no-win situation men put on women. A pressure, meant to control. Not even really about anything to them, because when there is no correct answer, then it's not about what males says it's about. It's about dominance.
The only different between now and ALL. OF. THE. THENS. is that we have internet, vehicles, lights, and Hot Topic.
The misogyny is the same.
Men back then used to apply a constant pressure until (hopefully) women snapped and stopped allowing patriarchy to thrive.
Men think that they can only be misogynists if we all live on farms, but the male spirit that negatively impacts all women around it is still there.
And don't ever be mistaken, the male will not sacrifice his ego in order to socialize with the female or empathize.
We are in the same situation we've always been.
That's really why only truly pro-female women can be friends with us, and males need to not have access to our minds. Men do not change. They only change strategies to get sex and dominate us.
men never grew up from being school-aged children but that's why women are told we grow up too fast or are mature at younger ages cause we aren't allowed to do that shit men do of criticizing everything they do. Men also think them being so critical of everything is what makes them "logical". It's not. It's just them being stupid. It's getting more and more difficult to share the planet with the male gender.
