If they haven't changed the process, you should be able to do it using a photo. If I remember correctly, they had me send in a selfie with me holding the date or something like that.

What if we don't have any social media presence is there any other way to be verified?
I had to go into the platform that my code was sent to , and re-send the email verification. It took less that 5 minutes :)
