My best friend and I can't seem to see eye on eye on a certain situation. I think she is naive, she thinks I'm bitter. So let me ask you:
Said friend used to be madly in love with a guy a few years ago. Sadly, he was taken and she later moved away. Now, said guy is divorced and they reconnected. They had been talking for about six months, when he was dating someone else casually. It was mostly a friendship thing she says. Now, a month ago, his "fling" ended, and they went on a real date. It ended with him staying the night. The day after, he texts her that he wants to quit for now, because he's dealing with both the divorce and the break. He's asked her to catch up around Christmas when they'll both be in town. He has deleted his dating apps, too.
Am I too negative thinking he's just fumbled her? Used her as a rebound to feel better about himself after being dumped, twice? He knew she was into him. She says she has been getting to know him a long time and that he is honest, but is he? These scrotes love pretending to like us until they get laid.
I've told her to block him and move on. Go on other dates. She says she wants to, but she still wants to see if in two months he returns.
This is a forty year old, bald, overweight scrote with kids. She's desperate to be with him like he were Chris Hemsworth. Yikes?
>She says she has been getting to know him a long time and that he is honest
there is no such a thing as an honest man.
>These scrotes love pretending to like us until they get laid.
exactly. and he has already showed her this. she's in denial.
>This is a forty year old, bald, overweight scrote with kids. She's desperate to be with him like he were Chris Hemsworth. Yikes?
yikes indeed.
even is he is genuinely "processing" everything that happened and trying to figure out how he actually feels about her or something, having sex too quickly and than acting like she'll always be there waiting for him is not how a HVM acts. the thing is, he knows she'll always be there waiting for him. so now all he heeds to do is some breadcrumbling to keep her "ready" for when he's bored.
Yeah it sounds like he just wanted a one night stand. He probably knew that this woman was mad about him and he used her for a quick ego boost. I definately agree that she should just block him but unfortunately, if she won't listen then there's nothing you can do.
He's keeping her as a Christmas backup.
Most definitely just used her for sex to not think about his problems. Poor naive girl
