I've noticed a trend where if I mention casually in conversations with acquaintances that I don't have any male friends nor would I ever, they act as if I'm breaking some kind of law.
Has anyone else noticed anything like this before?

They start fighting me on this. "But WHY" and "NOT ALLLLL MEN" and "that's WEIRD and UNHEALTHY" and "you need a BALANCE" and "you can't go through life with ONLY WOMEN FRIENDS"
It's like- why are you so pressed about my desire to not be friends with men? WHY does this bother you?
