No place is safe. But, I will say as a woman who's lived alone now for over 5 years the safest neighborhoods are the rich ones with old people and families. There's still crime, rape, murder, and drugs, but at a much smaller rate. There's always a potential risk when dating that the man will kill you, this is why we vet and meet in public until we trust them enough to allow them to be alone with us.
No place is safe. Shit like rape and femicide happen everywhere, in some places more often than others. I'd say my best bet at what could be the least shit location would probably be a non-eastern european city which doesn't have much immigrants. In Finland we have atleast Kuopio and Rovaniemi which are somewhat safe, not sure about the other cities in Europe

I agree. Any Western neighborhood that's full of poor, non-white migrants (except perhaps East Asian migrants) is particularly dangerous.
In the U.S., poor brown neighborhoods are dangerous. Poor black neighorhoods are dangerous. Poor East Asian neighborhoods are dirty as hell but not as dangerous.
Stay far away from these places.

Rape culture is everywhere. It crops up in different forms depending on location, but the idea that women (as a class or as individuals) owe men (as a class or as individuals) sex is everywhere.
Libfem men believe women's bodies are public property, i.e., every woman needs to be sexually accessible to any/every man. Libfem men run rampant in libfem cities.
Conservative men tend to believe women's bodies are private property, i.e., every woman needs to be sexually accessible to just one man, no matter how many partners he has. Conservative men run rampant in conservative cities.
In the U.S., as a general rule, neighborhoods full of white people tend to feel "safer" than neighborhoods full of POC. By "safe", I don't mean actually safe. "Safe", in this context, means there is an absence of an overtly violent atmosphere. In neighborhoods of color, men have no problem beating and raping women in the street. In white neighborhoods, there is at least a pretense that this sort of behavior is not OK.
But behind closed doors (i.e., in romantic relationships), rape culture is pervasive. White men rape, black men rape, brown men rape, Asian men rape. Nowhere is really safe.
My dream is to buy an island and only allow women to visit and live there. It'll be called "No Asshole Island," (haha maybe) and I've been saving money and shopping for it the past few years.
I've seen several islands for sale in Belize, but some have problems with dangerous drug boats going by. Perhaps the South Pacific, but then it's really hard to get to. I won't announce it publicly because I don't want to attract male attention. But I will get the word out in female-only spaces.
I plan to invite refugee women and women fleeing male violence, to come form a community. After I build a few small homes, I'll probably ask women if they'd like to come help build and contribute as well.
There are a few women-only villages in the world: Kenya, Syria, Brazil. That's the model I am looking to create. But on an island, the world can go to hell and we won't be bothered.
The only safe place for women is where there are No Men.

Their ultra conservative views of women and overall public hatred of any women make the country very unsafe. I remember one of their famous olympians got eaten alive by the men just cuz she had short hair. If you don't fit the beauty standard you are deeply hated. Not to mention women and girls are filmed without their consent so much that all their phones have to make a sound when they take pics. The men there are dirty, mean, and disgusting. Nothing like their k-dramas portray. Their gender war is even worse than America's.

I have heard that South Korea's crime rates are low. Can't say from experience though because I haven't travelled outside of my country.
