Agreed. Whether it's old accounts or no accounts, I consider HVM to not be perpetually on the internet. One of my standards is that he maybe has an old account that he doesn't care about or he's deleted them and never uses them... because he is focused on other things like his actual hobbies, friends and family, and leveling up at work instead.

In similar fashion, I have old accounts that I don't really use because I wanted to level up in other aspects of my life and focus my time better in other areas. I hope my dream dude has done and is doing the same. I want him to be too busy being a badass to even have the time for social media accounts.

I saw the story about Telegram, too. That's part of what got me wondering about this question. I think you're right, you can only trust men who actually hand their phone over to you. If I had a man, I would require him to give me his password, and let me use his phone whenever I want without looking over my shoulder. I don't even think of this as an invasion of privacy any more. We need to have access to their devices to keep ourselves safe. Of course 99% of men wouldn't agree to this.

I have looked around on fetlife and a lot of those guys calling themselves “ethically non-monogamous” or “polyamorous” would put themselves by claiming that their wife or long-term partner didn’t want to know about their other fetish partners because she wasn’t into the same kinks. It’s pretty clear that she actually just has no idea that her husband is posting nude pics of her online and meeting up with other people for sexual gratification. She probably turned him down when he asked to do depraved things to her, so he thinks he should be able to go out and do those things to other women and it’s fine, because his wife wasn’t interested in engaging with him like that. The whole time it’s just regular cheating.

Let’s also not forget that often these type of men are seeking extramarital affairs in order to play out their most pornsick fantasies- they’re looking for someone they don’t love or respect, so they can beat her or do other things he can’t imagine doing with his wife. It’s classic Madonna/Whore complex stuff
