I was reading it, thinking, "nah, too much work," and then I saw your comment. YES. We shouldn't have to teach a guy to be generous with a woman he is courting.
I think she's in the right direction and it's bold to not fully fall in line with libfem 50/50 ideology. But she overlooks a few key FDS points.
1) Any man who thinks a “fair” relationship means splitting expenses 50/50 does not understand the physical, mental, emotional, financial, and psychic cost of being a woman. No list of your beauty product expenses is going to turn him into not a misogynist.
2) Don't ask him how he sees expenses after marriage - getting married does not change men. A 50/50 man will perpetually resent his wife and attempt to nickel and dime her even while she bears and raises his children.
3) We don't build-a-man. Maybe you can teach him somewhat, but it's extremely unsexy to teach your boyfriend about the patriarchy. You don't want to spend your life educating your husband about your suffering under a system made for him. He needs to be able to see it and understand it himself.

the fact that they keep score of 50/50 situations while we must keep score of potential life threatening situations. and they say we are the ones who have it easy.
Last time I checked out Matchmaker Maria's podcast, she was encouraging women to go out with men they weren't attracted to, so I take anything she says with a grain of salt. I agree with @NotTheOne-- do not waste your precious time listing your expenses for a scrote.
Sounds like way too much work to me.
