What do you all think of this advice?

It's not "Make him work for it" it was "Don't be a slut, men are naturally predatory and if you give to him too easy he will treat you like shit" (Side note- a man willing to sleep with you the first time he sees you isn't hv. If he offers- he isn't hv. Her making him wait doesn't make him "hv", it just prolongs the time she wasted with him. I'm not saying she should sleep with a some male she doesn't know- he can be a rapist, have an std, have kinks, etc- I'm just saying the onus being on HER to prove herself to him 🤡 is how we get this pickme mindset and then if something goes wrong she begins to self gaslight assuming it was HER ACTIONS that are causing HIM to mistreat her [what Steve said is essentially the MADONNA/WHORE complex where we all know he's just a misogynistic who will treat you just as bad/look down on you if you only had sex with him after marriage as opposed to sleeping with hin the first chance he gets- he might even resent you for making him wait]) A hv male wouldn't have asked this woman who he clearly isn't all that interested in (since he didn't say it- he only texted it) all the way to New York when he's in the military. He would most likely wait until the restrictions on him are lifted before he even tries to date and might even only date within his own state unless he is willing to fly or move states to be with the woman he is seeing (asking a woman to fly over to you is lv- if he pays for it then it might be something else). Once he meets his love interest he wouldn't want to sleep with her immediately because he understands being intimate put them BOTH (he included) in an emotionally vulnerable position and HE doesn't want to be vulnerable with just any woman just yet (because he's not a skank) so even if she did offer to "give up the goods" he would refuse. Whether he looks down on her for being so fast is where some people might differ on opinions- but in my opinion, if he thinks lesser of a woman because of this despite knowing (because he is supposedly hv) how women are constantly told "to give it up or else he'll go elsewhere" and stuff like that- he isn't hv. He should be understanding (women don't have madonna/whore complexes with men) whereas red flags should be showing in a woman if a male were to be fast with her- because of the reason I stated above. This is just my 🪙🪙

Travel restrictions in the US military are generally not prolonged, so much so that one cannot fly domestically. I am not suggesting they don't exist. They do, but are generally temporary in nature. I know this from being in the military myself. Restrictions could also be due to the military member's bad behavior, and in that case that's a block and delete situation. He can wait until he is no longer on restrictions to go see her. Unless he offers to pay for her flight and her hotel room and expect not a thing in return from her. I am not a big fan of Steve Harvey. He is very very LV.

Military is a red flag 🚩

Any man who asks a woman to fly to him for a first date (and presumably pay for her own plane ticket and hotel) is automatically LV.

I hope she never visited him.
