“The Single Woman” Mandy Hale Says Toxic Ex She Married Left Her: Update

Hi all. I do have an update on a post I made a few months ago, Mandy posted that her husband has left. Have you been following this? We tried to warn her. Posting this because there were so many red flags. In short she is a public figure with millions of followers who built her whole brand on being a single woman. She announced she got married within a couple weeks of reuniting with the toxic ex who cheated on her a man she wrote about in her books. When people called her out, she was rude/condescending and looked down on single people and on her personal FB talked about how she was glad she was not one of those single people anymore despite building her entire name and platform on addressed to single women. I am not a fan of her attitude during their marriage I think she was very harmful to the single women she writes for but I hope she heals from this toxic cycle and hopefully learns from this and never goes back. I hope she realizes not to look down on single women— the very audience she built her platform on and hope one day she recognizes the harm she did with her messaging when all this happened. She was basically promoting going back to a toxic ex to vulnerable women without any disclaimers or warnings. She put the status of marriage over the welfare of the women she was supposed to help and was very smug in calling anyone who tried to warn about the red flags haters or “miserable” single people. And she didn’t intervene when pick me readers commented saying the same, which is bizarre because her books are all about de-stigmatizing singlehood.
