Question: What is his game?

I have been talking to this guy for a few weeks and I virtually know nothing about him. Whenever I ask a question, he never answers, but asks me two more. I called him out on it today and he’s answered some of them but they were all too general and I still knew nothing about him.

All I know is that this guy is single since I met him through a mutual girl friend who’s his neighbour.

Also, I have noticed this thing where he sets his phone so he doesn’t leave people on “read”. So on WhatsApp you won’t see the blue check marks and it looks like he hasn’t got around to reading your texts. I asked him about that, and he reassured me that he’ll never leave me on read, but he’s just busy. My question is, why does he choose to have that option? It’s really uncommon for people around me to do this. I’ve only met one girl who did this and it was really shady of her. What’s the male pov for doing this?

I’m starting to think that he may be more calculating then he lets on.
