What really irks me is that men claim that women need them for protection, but when women try to appeal to them for protection, they take the side of the party who is harming or threatening to harm the woman instead of standing up for the woman?
My brother is one example - instead of listening to me that I feel uncomfortable around such a man, my brother will say "He doesn't seem that bad."
My father would say something like, "What can I do? I can't throw away a relative."
If men were such great protectors of us, why don't they actually do it when we ask them to?

the only thing men protect is their own interests. they are not reliable. they'll protect you if that is somehow beneficial for them.
Men were never protectors and the only people you need protection from us other Men. It doesn’t make sense that Women need protection from Men the same group that’s harming Women. It’s an artificial threat, that men have used so Women mate with them out of that need. It’s so fucking sickening.
I’m going with 9. There are a FEW men out there who choose protection of their cherished women and girls over protection of other men or boys in their life.
But it’s a very low percentage, and unfortunately I’ve never personally experienced this. I have seen it in the wild on occasion.
Most men will be passive about it at best, or they’ll jump to protect the man who is being accused.
