I want to meet someone great, so I've been trying to find a hobby that isn't full of misogynists. I've got one in mind that I'll do more of, but what's everyone's experience and suggestions?
I find things that are nature related tend to have balanced genders and less scrotes. Horticulture societies, garden clubs, mycology associations, bird watchers, ecology groups, field naturalist groups, etc. Check Facebook for local groups that meetup IRL. Men who join these groups tend to do so out of genuine interest and not to creepily hit on women.
To try to find groups that are mostly women you’ll need to choose something more traditionally feminine like cooking groups, knitting / sewing / quilting groups, book clubs, art groups, or specifically women only groups and orgs. There‘s everything out there from women’s religious organizations to women only hunting clubs.
I also recommend looking into the local chapters of organizations like The Elks and Lions Clubs International. If the local group isn’t a sausage or senior fest and has good people, go for it —they often do a lot of charitable works, events, and give back to their communities.

I did cooking classes many years ago. It was 6 women led by a female chef and we all sat and ate the meal we had created together. I loved it.
Reading Sketching/painting
volunteering of any kind
Gardening, painting
Sports classes that focus on discliplines that are considered "girly" and women-only fitness classes in general.
I also find that volunteering has mainly women when it's to help animals or children, less so when it's something like volunteer firefighters.

Whewwwww I'm following this post because I'm having a hell of a time finding one, too, unless it's a completely women-centric hobby.
Sewing or Knitting or Crochet! Anything stereotypically female-oriented.
