Men basically have monopoly over the music marked, because even when women do get involved in producing or songwriting this massive over representation of men serves as gatekeeping, and conforming to their likes and dislikes is crutial for overall approval. Even seemingly independent and strong women have to conform in some way and aren’t really equal to men in freedom of expression.

If I had money, there would be so much I would do. I would not buy houses or yachts or jets. One of the things is that I would invest in women to go into producing, songwriting, and every other aspect of artistic expression that influences our culture. I would literally lose money on it, if I needed.
