Leveling up and not finding any men attractive

I'm noticing a pattern in my family where women have done the same thing.. My 91 year old independent grandmother who left her abusive husband at 40 and lived with her best friend for the next 50 years. My mum has remained single and happy since my dad died 6 years ago. My cousins who have waited till later in life to marry and remain child free.

I do this too! It works for Nice Guys, Kings, and whatever other designation said mediocre dusty wants to use to maintain his delusion. Especially now that they keep inventing ways to climb their imaginary status ladder (like that Sigma male crap).

I have absolutely noticed this. Men of the past were at least modestly handsome or decent looking. The ugly or profane to look upon were a rarity. Now it is almost the norm.

I am bi, but used to be more naturally attracted and drawn to men and sought a male partner by default. needless to say, that's been nearly completely obliterated now that I have so much more life experience and a deeper understanding and clarity of the realities we're facing. I believe I am still naturally more attracted to what I see as a masculine "ideal" (a provider, someone strong and competent yet gentle and chivalrous) but the reality is that maybe 1-5% of men actually fit that description, whereas the vast majority are low-level, toxic predators. it's a little tough because I'm very attracted to a good masculine physique and a man who is muscular and tall, but yeah...most of them also look like shit XD and I'm sure so many men who do have those attributes are huge players or narcissists. I can't imagine how they wouldn't be, knowing how their brains work and how they feel about women, coupled with how scarce men like that are in the wild. so yeah, I'm off dating at the moment and just focusing on myself, but if and when I resume, I'm also likely to shift my focus to women.

you could be bisexual, however in order for that you'd have to find the naked female body arousing (and scent) without any anti-male sentiment influencing your attraction. I'm not sure other than that though.

These pick-me’s are enablers and apart of the problem. Even though LVM are delusional, they’re never gonna see that they are because of pathetic pick-me’s who go for these disgusting degenerates and reproduce with them and do wifely duties for them. SMH

I hate beards too. I can tolerate short, well-groomed beards but I don’t even see those very often. The current trend is a beard that’s at least 6-inches past the chin, dehydrated and ratty. Looks like armpit hair hanging off their face.

I am another who hates beards. My dad has had a beard all my life. Beards make me think of him, which is an immediate killer to my libido (as it should be). Not to mention, my sensitive skin can't get near some scratchy raggedy beard without getting a rash worthy of some biblical plague.

Agreed. I have actually been feeling quite bitter and upset lately which is why I made the post. I've had a very unproductive day today so I'm feeling particularly mopey! There's always things to be grateful for though. I'd rather be single than putting up with any nonsense I did in the past in order to 'not be alone'. EW.
