Is paying for a matchmaker to meet men worth it? I've heard horror stories of how a lot of matchmakers are scammy as they pair women up with men who are nowhere close to meeting their standards or pay people to pretend to be men who meet their standards. A lot of matchmakers also seem expensive. I've heard people say paying for matchmakers is not worth it as it is filled with LVM you can easily meet for free on OLD, but I assume matchmakers (hopefully) do a background check of the men so at least I know they are not lying about their jobs and don't have a criminal record.
I don't think having an SO is that important to me at the moment but a partner would be nice. Unfortunately, all the men I had crushes on back when I was unwoke are taken and I'm not interested in the men who liked me. It can be hard for me to meet men I like and when I do, they are always taken...
I can only give another horror story of matchmakers with someone I knew. I’d say you’re better off saving that money or using it on yourself instead of giving it to a scammer who delivers another burden into your life. Just rambling on my end: if we use the resources to better ourselves, I’m hoping we’ll either find HVM men that fit us or we can be single and still fulfilled/happy because we addressed our own needs/development.
The trouble with matchmakers is that they offer a service with no quality control. I can return an item from the store if it's defective, or if a tradesperson makes a mistake they'll have to come back and fix it. With matchmakers you have no such guarantee. They could offer a shoddy service and you'll never see the money again
Don’t bother. If you have the money, pay for a dating app like elite singles or spend it doing activities where you might meet a HVM i.e. a posh hobby
To be quite honest, I’m not sure why any woman would ever do this. Spend your money on a fortune teller instead, at least it’ll be fun
I have 2 friends who paid $10K each to different matchmakers. One in DC and the other in NYC. Total waste of money. These women make $500K and $2 million per year, and the men they were set up were totally inappropriate. One guy was a "chef" who was 16 years younger and not looking for a relationship. The men the matchmakers have aren't HV. Do you know of a rich, successful man who's not drowning in women? My cousin is an eminent cardiologist in Philly, and before his 3rd marriage, he was telling me about all of the desperate women who send him unsolicited nudes and would do ANYTHING to be the wife of a doctor. There are more men on OLD than these matchmakers have. Did you ever watch Millionaire Matchmaker? There wasn't even one millionaire guy that wasn't a scrote.
I find them scammers. They will say they have someone to match me and then will match me with someone totally different.
