I think we’re still alive and moving. Whenever I post something here, a few people always comment. Likewise, I try to comment or react to every new post.
It’s ok with me if the group is quieter. Hopefully it means we’re out living our HV lives!
FDS has healed me deeply. Finding a group of women who see the world the way I see it, and who have wisdom and strength I didn’t have when I was younger, has been healing.
I used to think I was crazy or just “too negative” about the world & about men. Now I know I’m not crazy, I can see what’s actually going on. And I can armor up for it.
I don’t think FDS is dying. It started out as a small group of women who shared the same ideas and morals, and now it’s going back to its roots. It was always meant to be underground, subtle, and private.
Back then, it was an exclusive group where you had privilege to comment on posts.
A long time ago I posted about my concerns that this place felt dead at times and how long will this place be up. I can't find a single other place online where I can voice my frustration on an issue that involves men and women and for which people will immediately rally for the women instead of look at the man's perspective. I heard that Ovarit is OK but never tried it. I'm glad I found FDS while it was still on reddit or else I'd never know about this one here. TwoX is garbage.
Honestly I may get downvoted but I wish FDS was still on Reddit. And AskFDS. And FLUS. People get mad at "pick me" questions but come on, we were all new at one point and some women come from really bad homes and no type of guidance. They ask a question and then there's other women attacking them saying they are a troll or it's a stupid question. Yes, READING HANDBOOK is ESSENTIAL and REQUIRED. It just annoys me that some women get all mad at what they think are stupid questions!!! They forget that they are also newbies in other subjects and wouldn't appreciate others calling their questions stupid or they are a troll. I don't think any question is stupid. I actually applaud the newcomers and anyone who wants to seek more knowledge and learn.
I loved that there were so many users! Theres more feedback and more lessons that THEY learned that can help others.
BUT there were scrotes attacking some women in their DMs. Which is disgusting and sad and I wish it didn't happen. Unfortunately I do not know what to do about that. 😫😭
I’m with you on that I miss how lively we were on here and especially on Reddit. I loved all the posts, comments and overall banter.
I think some users have left while some are employing FDS techniques in real life and living life in general, offline. I do hope that many of us keep posting and any ladies who find us on Reddit see the post about us being on here and join this platform.
The new Discord is up and running so anyone who wants to join us on there and have up-to-date discussions should message me. ☺️☺️
I wish the Subreddit was still more active like it used to be. I only discovered FDS for myself about a year ago and the Subreddit was already more inhibited back then, so I often read through the past posts and comments on various different FDS topics and then always WISH I could still leave comments and interact with the ladies there somehow. It looked like so much fun and there seemed to be much more posts and comments compared to this site.
I hope not. FDS has been so helpful and I feel like unbrainwashing the cultural messages we were fed is an ongoing process. Whenever I have an issue, I search the old reddit forum and can be sure to find helpful answers. I also really liked the tag "global resistance" as a representation of what FDS stands for, and one sentence stuck with me deeply: "You have all of us here, and millions of women around the world, to share your pain with." It would be so sad if the FDS community were dying.
I think there will always be a niche for FDS's flavor of posts and information, but yeah traffic has slowed down. Others have pointed out there isn't a lot of new ground to break informationally speaking. Most advice has already been given. I agree with this.
There has been a lot of talk over the years about expanding FDS's brand and media reach. Where are we at on this? If the brand doesn't have any recognizable goals, mission, etc then how is anyone going to get invested in where the brand is going? I'm not a business or marketing major by any means but I'm certainly not going to personally invest in creating content for a brand that could just delete itself tomorrow and suffers from a major lack of leadership and direction.
If like FDS the brand wants to be something, cool, but I've accepted this is a vaguely based feminist dating/life support group at this point (RIP FLUS iykyk). It's also hard for FDS as a brand to advocate dating in the climates many of us live in and with the rise of celibacy, 4B etc all over the world. Many of us would have no problem dating if candidates or circumstances were better and FDS would be much busier in that case. But with the current trends unfortunately I only see it getting more quiet around here. I refuse to feed the trolls, tell people to read the handbook, or report people for breaking the rules anymore. I just interact with the odd thing that is still worthwhile.
This, so much. With the rapidly declining quality of men, and their anger and angst only making them worse…I fear that Female Dating Strategy might evolve into Avoiding Men Strategy. My life has gotten so much better without a man messing it up.
A nosy client asked me the other day, “You’re so accomplished and attractive, why don’t you have a partner?”
Really. Who is worthy of me? I had to diplomatically say that I’m very happy without one, and too busy living my life to invest in a relationship, thank you. Sheesh.
But I LOVE LOVE LOVE FDS! I feel alive here. Thank you ladies ❤️

I think alot of the driving force behind FDS was the pod...at least if we're talking new traffic/engagement. There is still a small (mostly) women only community here though. Without the pod to give it direction though it's just a little harder to drive a consistent narrative...not impossible, just challenging!
Here's some FDS aligned spaces I can recommend that are more active--check out Manifestelle on Youtube or Spotify, www.reddit.com/r/BurbNBougie(Burb is also on Youtube), Priscilla Boye (Youtube), and Get Going with Maryjane (Youtube).
On Substack: Liberating Motherhood by Zawn Villines, Cindy from the Mother Lode, Allison Hiltz from Delightfully Difficult, Jennie Young, Burned Haystack Dating (Jennie is probably more active on FB and Insta)
There's plenty more, but once you start following one or two you'll get similar recommendations and pick whichever you like best.
We're waking up!!!

I’ll always be grateful for FDS ❤️
If you have internalized what FDS means, then it has helped you and that's what matters.

Subreddit is down for a very good reason. It's better if it's inactive than nuked by preddit or overrun by Tim mods.
