This guy had rejected me and I no longer have feelings for him. I find my past experience of having a crush on him cringeworthy and I wish I didn't do that. I now feel bitter about it and I really want to live a better life than him. It's so hard though. He now has a well-paid job, money, property, some degree of "fame" within his field of work, and a beautiful wife. He pretty much has it all. Meanwhile, no matter how hard I work, I still earn less than him and don't have much "fame".

You made another post like this already. You already got answer to this. Try to let go, please. You are overly focused on men and what they might think of you, or how to make life choices based on men's values and opinions. Your worth is not determined by men. Start with decentering them.
Who cares what he has? A lot of men might be good looking and filthy rich but they are low value scrotes. Why do you want that for yourself??? I would rather earn less and be a decent human being working hard towards my goals.
