It's one thing if it was an accident etc. But the thought of a man hitting a woman even if she hits him first does not sit right with me at all.
I DESPISE men wishing violence or harm on women for whatever reason. There's literally dudes who admit and boast about the idea of hitting or punching women if the opportunity arises.

I am a "bad person" that: Hates verbally abusive men. Hates violent men. Hates broke 50/50 men. Hates lazy men. Hates crass men. Hates entitled men. Hates perverted men. Hates loud men. Hates men who don't wash their ass. You are only a "bad person" when scrotes and Pick Me's come at you for pointing any of that stuff out and protecting yourself or others. I always hated the "equal rights, equal lefts" dudes. Men literally have the strenght to stop a woman from hitting them, as for us? Many of us don't, so eQuAl rIgHtS, eQuAl LeFtS only works for them. But all the men I ever saw hitting women on videos, they always do more damage. You as a woman scratch a man? In return he'll brutally punch you under the excuse of eQuAl RiGhTs and LeFtS or in worse case scenario murder you under the pretense that it was "self defence", do not fall in their trap, they're literally waiting for you to make the first move as small as it may be. So scared of a person of more petite stature and more fragile, eh? They CAN do it right, but they are bad persons, they have the urge to hurt and since a woman is weaker and can't do much in return (in general), they're not afraid of us so they don't hold themselves back like they would with men. We know who we're talking about, I'm not gonna say not all men. There's this saying that goes "The strong is not the one who overcomes the people with his strenght, but the strong is the one who controls himself when in anger." So clearly not those men. And what cowardice to pick on a woman as a man, the same can't be said for the reverse. Men are afraid of other men, not of women, that's why they allow themselves to disrespect us, because.. what you gonna do as a woman? These type of "men" are cowards.

I too hate it when a man hits a woman back even if she hits him first...it might sound hypocritical and unfair but then again the difference in physical strength between a man and a woman during a fight is also unfair
Whenever I came across those “equal right equal lefts” videos they were always something along the lines of a woman slapping a man because he invaded her space/said something that offended her then the woman would try to walk away from him.
The man, unphased would run up and punch/smack the woman as hard as he can in the skull. The woman would drop to the ground or get all disoriented and dizzy. That kind of trauma can cause permanent brain damage or break a woman’s neck at best, that‘s if the impact doesn’t kill her.
Men in the comments would be celebrating his “bravery and fight against double standards.”
I’m just cringing because even If both of the people in the situation were male, the man doing the punching would still be charged with assault and battery. The situation (the other person trying to leave the situation and not even being life threatening in the first place) completely disqualifies any “self defense” claims.
Retaliation or “revenge” does not count as self defense. Even if you are defending yourself theres such a thing as excessive force. Obviously no one should use a flame thrower on their school yard bully.

There is nothing to feel bad about here: men who hit women are the scum of the earth, and it is right to hate them. Keep in mind that 80% of men can kill 80% of women WITH THEIR BARE HANDS. There are circumstances where it is okay for a woman to hit a man, but NEVER for a man to hit a woman.
If a woman hits a man, he needs to either get out of there or restrain her. There's no reason a man ever *needs* to hit a woman. It's really that simple.
What? Why would you think you're a bad person for thinking this? Men shouldn't hit women, ever. When a man hits a woman he can harm her very badly and potentially even kill her. When women hit men we don't even bruise them. Unless he's disabled, nearly every man on the earth could, if he wanted to, kill a woman with his bare hands, whereas women would need a weapon. They are so much stronger than us, yes, even the little ones, because of their muscle mass relative to ours. You're right about it being terrifying. If I ever heard a man wishing he could hit or punch a woman (or a child or an animal) I would make sure I never came into contact with that man again.
You can have compassion for men who behave like that and still refuse to have anything to do with them.
I firmly believe if a woman doesn't want to get hit she shouldn't hit a man but there are always exceptions to the rule, If you molested her kids, If you gave her aids, you bullied/pestered/stalk/touched inappropriately or call her names while she did nothing to you then she has every right to strike a man.
Bullying and the other things I mentioned is mental abuse.
