I saw couple posts on Reddit where men admitted to see multiple escorts and wanted advice how to come clean to their partners. However, 99% of the men were commenting to hide and lie about it. In fact, some even went as far as to say it's perfectly normal for men to see sex worker and lying by omissions isn't lying.
How do I find out if a guy has history of seeing sex worker? I obviously can't rely on them to be truthful. I understand playing dumb about porn, and asking about it. However, playing dumb about sex work or supporting it see how they react can actually back fire.
Any advice?
I think the only way to get the truth out of a man is to pretend you believe its a totally normal thing for men to be woth escorts, and once thry think you are cool with it, theyll tell the truth.
I caught my ex communicating with escorts. He swore up and down he’d never met them in person but obviously an escort wouldn’t text with someone for free unless that person is arranging services. Misogynistic men seek out escort services. When I asked my ex to explain himself, he chalked it up to a madonna-whore complex. I was the madonna so he sought a whore or whatever.
So how did I catch him? Routine snooping on his phone. I entered the phone numbers on google and a lot of them came up on backpages.
Privacy is a privilege not a right. Always snoop. Your health and well-being literally hinges on your ability to do so.
If and when the FDS podcast ramps back up I would love to hear a discussion about the best snooping tactics.
If he brags about his "traveling" and most of the locations he mentions have an abundance of sex tourism or trafficking that's a major sign.
Does he have a lot of knowledge about hotels and which ones to pick?
Does he follow a lot of models visiting dubai on instagram?
Did he ever mention going to bachelor parties, frat parties or seeing strippers?
Does he frequently go out on "business trips" for unspecified reasons?
Does he prefer to hang out in the lower income parts of town despite his financial stability and expensive tastes? Like does he seem really familiar with the areas for unspecified reasons?
Those would be some signs.
I definately agree that most men are not going to admit that they've been with an escort. I guess if a man argues in favour of prostution e.g. "sex work is real work" or "sex work should be legalised", or if he admits to going to strip clubs or talks about friends who have slept with prostitutes (in a way that implies that he thinks it's no big deal), then it's a safe bet that he sees nothing wrong with prostitution and probably has slept with a prostitute at some point.
