As many as she wants??? I also love collecting shoes. I usually wear sneakers (if the weather is appropriate) and like having pairs in different colors or for different purposes (certain pairs for walking on terrain versus walking indoors, etc.). I have a lot of dressier boots that I haven't had a chance to wear, but keep anyway just in case the situation arises. As long as they aren't falling apart and are kept clean, who cares?

End of the day...not really about a number. Do you have the space for all of them? Are they well cared for? Do you own them at the expense of other things that build value in your life? If they have heels...can you walk in them without looking like a giraffe 🤭 There is no singular definition for "high value" it's intentionally gray because our situations as women are so varied and complex. If they make you happy and you can afford them...you GO and you BE Fabulous!
I know it's a weird question. I know everyone has their own standards. In my opinion I have a good amount of shoes because I like to match shoes with dresses. That makes me feel prettier and better overall. But I was worried whether I just like to dress up or I'm a straight up compulsive buyer. So I wanted to know what the HVW on this forum would answer. I wanted to know if I'm normal or an anomaly here.
I'd like to think a high value person is conscious of overconsumption and their environmental footprint. I don't like the term high value that much, but for me it translates into someone who consistently puts in the work for self development. So in that sense it's good to exercise self control and not be compulsive.
Are they from an ethical brand? Are they quality that will last you years? Do you wear every pair for a purpose? Do you regret more than a few? Do you find yourself shopping for more than you can manage to wear or keep looking although you have 30 already? Intention is more important than the number. But I definitely think 30 is more than enough for any one person lol.
What a weird question. As long as you're not in debt because you keep buying shoes you don't need, who cares?
I'm not a shoe person and pretty much only own one high quality pair for each use (sneakers, winter boots, hiking boots, sandals, ballet flats, heels and boots for different occasions...) and even that way I easily own 15 pairs of shoes (or more). Definitely more, if you also count shoes that are technically sports equipment like my riding boots (multiple pairs) or climbing shoes.

What a weird Q, OP. Your standards are your standards.
