I have a few friends who are really into her music, but I haven't listened much to know what themes she sings about. I saw her on SNL last night and the songs she performed seemed feminist and pro-woman in nature, but I guess she frequently tours with drag queens. I'm pretty sure drag queens (men making a mockery of women) are not FDS-aligned, but how does FDS feel about a woman dressing in drag attire and making that her image?

The whole point of drag is for male-oriented men to mock women, with sexually degrading overtines, for the entertainment of other male-oriented men.
I don't really know who chappel roan is, but I'm unimpressed by women who pretend to enjoy drag (what non-gay man actually enjoys drag queens? They're annoying and boring as fuck) But she's young, right? I hope these young, feminist-aspiring pop star ladies get ahold of radical feminism soon. It's not their fault that they mistake dick-pandering for feminism; that's what they've been taught. But they need to wise up sooner or later. It's embarrassing to be approaching 30yo and still think that porn and shit is pro-woman.
I don't have any hopes for any of these types of women because they remain the same throughout their lives, so ingrained by the system that hates them to believe in liberal feminism. These things won't ever change. Ten years from now, some other female artist will take her place. She's probably going to take the place of Lady Gaga.
Lady Gaga defends Dylan Mulvaney. These female artists don't care. If you're going to listen to their music, just download it for free and move on. Do not expect them to change.
She's a piickme of the worst sort: she's supporting men who openly mock her
i like her music (i knew her work before she became famous) and i think she's bi (or lesbian, not sure). but her audience is mostly queer and insufferable. it's madonna and lady gaga all over again. btw, lady gaga did drag too. remember that?
i feel like today female artists need to build their entire brand on queer identity and sex appeal. chappel was already a great singer before wearing langerie on stage and doing drag, but clearly that was not enough.
I don't know much about her except that she's huge with gay men and people who do drag, as you said. People call her a feminist icon, but generally the queer and drag circles are quite women-hating. So her feminism is probably too palatable for FDS tastes.
She glories being a stripper etc it’s sad
I find her pretty boring, like Taylor Swift, but I do support independent and succesful women.
