Many years ago I dreamed of getting married and doing a wedding photoshoot with my future husband. Nowadays, I doubt I will ever get married. I've also heard of all these stories of women destroying their wedding photos as they hate their husbands that much.
I've heard of solo photoshoots and I wonder if I should go to one. Not that I want to organise a "marry myself" event but I've seen some nice solo photoshoot results. Should I go to a solo photoshoot or is it a waste of money? People tend to go to photoshoots for memorable reasons though (e.g. graduation) and I don't have one.
I get professional photos taken every year. Some with family, but usually alone. Last year, I got my dog so we have our portraits up on the wall. Having updated photos of yourself, you and your pets, you and your friends, and/or you and your family are great ways to decorate your home and it’s also nice to send little wallet size photos to friends and family, too. My grandma loves getting my little wallet photos and hangs em on her fridge. :)
I did it last year and have booked in again for later this year. I loved it so much and wished I had done it years ago. I think it's an act of self love to have beautiful, professional photos to look back on when you are older.
Do it! Never put your dreams on hold for anyone else.
I've done it several times! It's a fun treat!
LOVE this! Thanks for the inspiration... Such a great way to treat oneself. And if you can find a classy (female!) boudoir photographer that might be a nice touch if that's the kind of angle you're shooting for (pun intended!).
I would actually love to do a solo photoshoot. I think more people do it than we realize. One thing I don't know though, should we do our own makeup or should someone else do it?
Marriage is just the reward to keep the treatment they're already giving you. It seems like you're tired of low value guys but remember there's 8 BILLION people on the planet. We shouldn't live in a scarcity mindset and we should challenge negative thoughts.
