I’m thinking about going to a concert alone. I was supposed to go with a girl, but it seems like she’s trying to be nice and decline. This is my first concert EVER! lol idk what to expect. Tickets are $180 for nosebleeds section.
The concert starts at 7pm. I plan on going into the city early and leaving around 3-4pm and grabbing dinner before the concert. I think I’ll uber home. Maybe leave 15-30 minutes early to avoid the crowd.
I’m very scared because idk what to expect. I’m more so scared that I won’t be able to get home safely or get an uber. I’m also worried of men or sketchy people approaching me. Or worse, someone putting stuff into my drink. I don’t plan on staying out until early morning; probably be home before midnight lol
The reason why I want to go, is because this time around, I can definitely swing this amount. Also, it’s something to look forward to in the summer. I really want to before she blows up and tickets get expensive. Back in 2018, I had the opportunity to see Taylor Swift for as low as $60 and someone was supposed to go with me, but they took their husband instead! I just don’t want to miss out on things just because I have no friends.
FDS, should I go to this concert alone? What should I expect? What are some tips you would provide?
Update: I bought the tickets! I went over budget, but I’ll be in the first row of the section for my first concert. Im literally so excited. Im planning out outfits right now. Im literally shaking from excitement.
Others have said it already. Go and have a ball! It’s always annoying when you want to do something and no one has the time or interest to do it. If you wait for people, you’ll never do some things you want to do so don’t be afraid and do what you want to do. Just have your wits about you and continously scan your surroundings. You’ll be fine 🙌🏽🙌🏽😄
