Sat here listening to my neighbours introducing new family members of each of their families. Sounds nice for them but I sit here shuddering at the the thought of having to do that again...if that's good or bad I don't wanna be right lol!

I really don’t miss that. Many LVM, once they meet and gain the approval of your family, get too comfortable and start believing they can talk to you or treat you any which way. Basically any access to your life where a man can get too comfortable and complacent is not a good thing. Similar to finances not getting too entangled, I believe families shouldn’t get too entangled either. Especially NOT before marriage.
Same. As I get older, I like things simpler. I don’t want to add things or people really, I want to subtract. 😂
You're not alone. I abhorred that stuff when I was in a relationship, and I'm so glad I don't have to do it again. It's so stressful and rarely ever worth it.
