Hey Ladies,
I've been working consumer IT for 7+ years and am now working in business IT / InfoSec.
While on Reddit I was drafting up a post on basic cybersecurity tips and tricks to keep women safe, esp because of how prevalent doxxing is, and other tips to keep you digitally safe in the dating world.
Before I posted I just wanted to ask what sort of information ya'll might like to know so I can add a little more meat to the doc / post when I'm ready to put it up.
I think it's super important - even though we're no longer on reddit, it can still sometimes be easy for NEETS/LVM to find us if they really want to.
Let me know!
Personally I've always been hesitant to put up pictures on social media and even on dating apps (back when I was using OLD), but I'm not exactly educated on the extent of possible misuse. EI: how long are pictures stored online after you remove them, do sites remove location data from photos when you post them, if not how to remove them yourself etc. I'm sure this would be helpful for others to know as well. Thanks for posting about this!
