You need to know what works for you. Get very comfortable touching the internal parts of your vagina and cervix with fingers. Try to find your A spot, internal parts of the clit.

I'd recommend having him help you orgasm before penetration.
Then get on top of him with your hand wrapped around the base of his penis, so you only put the top of it in. When you feel more relaxed, you can try taking your hand off. Since you're on top, you should have more control of the depth.
