Block and delete, he’s back but didn’t hear anything?

Matched on OLD(I know I know) anyways I was heading out of town for a bit and when I got back he was out of town . So finding a day didn't work, we were planning to meet once he got back to the city as we exchanged numbers and he let me know the day he flew out. so now a week passed and I forgot about him until I went on the app and I noticed he's back in the city(the distance changed) and he's been back for like 3 days now and I haven't haven't heard anything from him. Should I block and delete? I'm debating bc it almost feels irrelevant as we don't know each other but also he did mention we'd see each other when he gets back and he's back so feels like he's low effort and to block and delete
