I’ve been asked out many times before but never took up the offer because I didn’t (still don’t) feel ready yet. Dating right now is still a very low priority for me, but if I could at least familiarize myself with what to expect that would be nice.
I’m a very anxious person especially when comes to unfamiliar social situations. Learning the basics of what to expect always helps make my anxiety shut up a little. The handbook is written with the assumption that the reader has some experience with dating. This isn’t wrong, it just makes it a little unclear or confusing to those who are inexperienced. I doubt most depictions of dates in media are completely accurate.
Signs of a bad date are obvious enough but what are signs of a good date? Also, what are some good dating ideas that don’t involve dining? Going out to dinner gets boring very quickly.
personally i like dinner dates as a first date because it puts the pressure on the guy to be conversational. no phones to distract or be distracted by. you can always suggest lunch or try various food options to spice things up.
good dates would be the exact opposite of bad ones right? sadly have never been on one yet so i can't tell you for sure.
