I was zipping around the internet and came across this fantastic FDS- style summary from tumbler. Not sure the origin, but I thought it was worth posting here since we've got a lot of new blood. This summary is succinct and easy to follow.
The (unlinked) comment section? Whewwwwww it was angry about (#5) men needing to financially invest. The pick me's were thumping their chests about how unfair it is. I laughed in FDS wisdom.

Any woman who's been in a few LTRs with a LVM knows that #5 is crucial. I think most men and pick mes think it means buying us diamonds and designer bags. NO. We just want evidence of his financial stability. If he doesn't have the resources to take care of both of you when life stuff happens like illness, unemployment, accidents, don't bother. What's the point in having a partner if they don't help or enhance your life? Might as well stay single.

Also, men are sooooo especially salty these days over the notion that we expect them to be able to provide and treat us financially. I think one major reason is because so many men today are broke and unsuccessful but instead of having the discipline to reflect inwardly and do what they need to do to change that, they just get angry and bitter over this completely reasonable expectation.

I don't get the backlash to #5. Every day on the internet, women complain about the time they just wasted on a loser who was using them and wonder if there was JUST SOME WAY to better vet a man's intentions. Yet the second you suggest financial investment, pickmes clutch their pearls and lose their minds.
Why? It's such a simple litmus test. Are women so collectively headfucked that we think we don't deserve it?
Yes! Dressing well and looking after your figure is not being a pickme. It’s self respect. You would be turned off if a dude doesn’t look well groomed or doesn’t dress well so you should hold yourself to the same standard.
